Kitty Man - Piano Performance and Teaching Mentor

Kitty studied the piano and violin to post grade 8 and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Music with Honours at City University, London and Advanced Performance at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Kitty brings a wealth of experience in piano teaching, performance and music publishing, having taught piano since 2003, she enjoys sharing her love, passion and creativity for music to the local community. She has experience with different examination boards including ABRSM, Trinity and RSL and teaching students with SEN. Kitty is passionate to share the gift of music nurturing each students through their musical journey.

With Kitty’s experience of teaching students from beginners to advanced level, she welcomes students on her mentoring programme sharing her experience of her own career path, provide guidance, motivation, support and help them set achievable goals.

Claire Summerbell - Clarinet, Piano and Music Theory Teacher

Claire has played piano since the age of 7 and comes from a family of musicians so music has always been a big part of her life. At aged 8, she also took up the clarinet, gaining her Grade 8 at 16. After completing a degree in English Literature, she eventually deciding to go in to music teaching and obtained her Performer’s Diploma in 2006.

Claire is a passionate music teacher with over 20 years’ experience teaching clarinet and piano. She has taught students of all levels and ages and worked across 6 London schools. Lessons are always tailored to students’ goals; she is equally happy exploring a new piece of music as she is preparing students for practical music exams.

In her spare time, Claire enjoys composing. She writes jazz clarinet duets for her website Clarisheets which sell internationally, and also arranges music for Sheet Music Plus.

Dara Hussein - Piano and Singing Teacher

Dara Hussein began studying piano and voice in the United Arab Emirates under Denitsa Georgieva and Theodore Valentine Iliescu at the House of Arts. She then moved to England at 16 where she studied joint -first Piano and Voice at the Royal Northern College of music under Linda Richardson and Duncan Glenday. She also specialised in composition and piano duo under John Gough.

She then studied Music at Royal Holloway University of London where she was the highest achieving pianist during her last year, earning a high first in her piano performance special study. She specialises in Czech and Russian romantic piano music with a proclivity for the work of Josef Suk as well as Dmitri Shostakovich.

Although she is a classically trained singer, she has a predilection for Musical Theatre. She has starred as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Scaramouche in We Will Rock You as well as other notable roles. However, Her favourite shows are HadesTown, Hamilton and Cry Baby.

Since her time at university, she has amassed some 40 students of both piano and voice ranging from ages 4 to 50+ and has successfully entered students in ABRSM exams from the Initial grade to Grade 8. She has a passion for guiding musicians through their individual musical journeys and tailors her teaching to each student.

Kallia Kanellopoulou - Piano and Music Theory Teacher

Kallia has been teaching piano and theory since 2014 and has a wide range of experience to support her students. She has completed her degree in Piano, Musicology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and her masters in Music Education, at Kingston University London.

Throughout her work career she has kept pursuing more academic knowledge, this is one of the ways she keeps growing in her music teaching. She has volunteered and worked in various projects such as the Balkan Music Camp for Disadvantaged Children and Adults - organised by Professor of the University of Edinburgh, Nigel Osbourne, and in many music centres in Athens, Greece, teaching music and music theory. Kallia’s work in such diverse environments has helped her learn to adapt easily and provide the necessary support for all learners.

Kallia welcomes all students from beginners to advanced level grade 8 and teaches in a variety of genres.

Kieran Aston - Guitar and Ukulele Teacher

Kieran has played guitar since 1993 and has RGT grade 8 in electric guitar and UWLQ Level 4 in Music Teaching (QCF) teaching diploma awarded by the London college of music.

Primarily self taught and is experienced in playing multiple genres. He has played in bands from 1998 to the present and these bands has ranged in repertoire of original music and covers. Kieran has performed live on a regular basis for 24 years.

Kieran has taught privately since 2013 mainly focusing teaching beginner/intermediate students. He has helped students in developing in basic skills and techniques. Also he has assisted with preparation for grade examinations. He is very patient and will find the best way to express ideas and learning.

Kieran has found learning the guitar a source of confidence and enjoyment. Through his enthusiasm in his lessons he hopes his students develop a deeper passion for music and help them acquire skills to improve.

Kieran wants to develop a strong foundation in knowledge and technique in all students he teaches. While making learning enjoyable.

Pinar Bal Ozalp - Piano and Singing Teacher

Pinar is a graduate of ‘Kocaeli University's Faculty of Fine Arts’, majoring in piano and singing. Additionally, she has received pedagogy education from ‘MimarSinan Fine Arts University’. She has been giving piano lessons for 15 years and has been an experienced piano teacher with hundreds of students to date.

She also teaches singing, which is her first passion, she teaches singing in musical and pop genres, which is the style she loves to sing. She completed her part-time voice education at Istanbul University State Conservatory and had the chance to perform on various stages in Istanbul.
 
Pinar believes that starting piano and singing education at an early age is highly valuable and, in this context, she has a great responsibility towards her students.

According to her, the first of these responsibilities is that the student should love music, piano or singing, then students start to correct the more challenging musical techniques.

Pinar is also highly experienced in preparing students for grade exams such as ABRSM. She believes that the lesson environment should always be both enjoyable and serious, whether students are preparing for exams or learning as a hobby. She knows that maintaining this balance is the key to success.

Usna MacErlane - Piano Teacher

Usna grew up in Ireland where he began learning piano at the age of 16. Since then in his career, he has performed in collaboration with BBC’s Proms in the Park, Leeds Lieder Festival, and a multitude of lunchtime concerts. As a finalist of the Leeds Besbrode Piano Competition two consecutive years, he is a well equipped performer of virtuosity.

He began teaching piano in 2020, since then he has taught people of ages 7-54 years. He has helped students with grade exams, GCSE/A-Level performances and personal goals alike. Although predominantly a classical pianist, he is able to teach jazz piano to an intermediate standard. 

In addition to piano performance, he is also an active music producer. He has created music syncs with popular Netflix shows, writing and coproducing BBC Radio 1's Track of the Week, among other achievements.


As a teacher, he has taken countless students from beginner to advanced levels, both online and in person. He prioritises adapting to each student's individual needs, as not everyone responds to the same style of learning. Usna helps bring out the best in every student, helping them enjoy learning new piano skills each lesson and develop a passion for music.

Sibel Zeyneloca - Piano Teacher

Sibel Zeynelova is a Bulgarian Pianist and Piano Teacher, Music Theory and Chamber Music Instructor with more than 10 years of a teaching experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance at the Royal Academy of Music and completed the LRAM there, with other institutions throughout her studies including Mannes College The New School of Music in New York, United States, The National School and National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria.

During the years she has been teaching up until present, she’s been training students for different concerts and competitions, conservatoire exams and grade classifications, gaining highest results as Distinction and Merit in all the levels involved. 

Her students’ age range from 3 years old up until 75 years old and she’s definitely willing to teach individuals at all levels - from beginners to advanced, considering personal approach and taking into account everyone’s desired way of learning – intensively, professionally or just for general knowledge and music appreciation. Besides giving one-to-one lessons, Sibel has been conducting online classes successfully, meeting students from diverse nationalities based in different parts of Bulgaria, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Singapore and Switzerland.
         
Sibel gave her first solo recital at the age of nine and her debut with orchestra was two years later. She is a prizewinner of over fifty-five awards from international competitions.

Stephanie Legg - Clarinet, Piano and Saxophone Teacher

Stephanie graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013 and is a piano/woodwind tuition specialist. 

With a background in Jazz and pop saxophone, Stephanie has worked as a session musician and performer throughout the UK and Europe.

With a keen interest in improvisation, Stephanie’s tuition covers a mix of repertoire and exam preparation as well as performance confidence and developing the musical ear.

Previous students have been accepted into the Royal Northern College of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, as well as younger pupils who have been granted Music scholarships into secondary schools.

Outreach and community work is important to Stephanie and in the past she has volunteered as a pianist for Chelsea Westminster Hospital, performed with dance therapy company ‘Green Candle Dance’ and alongside her woodwind quartet ‘SoundSpark’, delivered online and in person concerts for ‘Listen up Live!’ a series for children with SEND.

Stuart Orme - Singing Teacher

Stuart is a professional opera singer who trained at the Royal Northern College of Music. He has performed all over the country on stage, on the concert platform and with professional choruses and vocal ensembles. He has worked at operatic festivals such as Grange Park Opera, Buxton Festival and Opera Holland Park, most recently performing a role in a Handel opera at the Grange Festival. Stuart sings in languages such a French, German, Italian, Latin and Hebrew as well as English. Other notable operas he has performed in are Madama Butterfly and Tosca by Puccini, Macbeth, Un Ballo in Maschera and Aida by Verdi, Cosi Fan Tutte and The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. In December he will be performing the title role of the opera Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky.

Stuart is the regular bass singer at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue. His ability to sight read music quickly allows him to sing new pieces of music to a high standard for the congregation of Shabbat services. He also works as a choir singer at London’s top churches including St Paul’s Cathedral, Temple Church, St George’s Hanover Square and many more. He was the regular bass singer at Manchester Cathedral during his time and training in Manchester.

Stuart has been teaching singing since completing his undergraduate degree in 2013. He has taught children as young as four up to sixty five years old. He has taught one to one on a private basis in people’s homes, in performing arts schools for groups and sometimes whole school sessions. He has worked for Stagecoach, Artis, and currently works as a classroom singing workshop leader for Primary Robbins, Grange Park Opera’s outreach programme.

Stuart has a passion for finding the best voices in pupils whilst enjoying the music that can be performed. Stuart is also a classical guitarist which he studied up to ABRSM Grade 7 before moving to Manchester to pursue singing.
